John D. Wagner is the award-winning author of many books (see "Books" link at left for a list) on green building, construction, woodcrafts, home building, the supply chain, and corporate management.

He is a very active consultant, speaker, and trainer who works with major U.S. companies. His clients, past and present, include Boston Cedar & Millwork, KLEER, Emery-Waterhouse, Ainsworth, Western Red Cedar Lumber Assn., the majority of the regional lumber dealer associations, and many other companies. Through his magazine columns, John has a monthly audience of more than 180,000 builders, architects, remodelers, and building material dealers.

John is also a partner in Propel Marketing Group, a green-product and building-technology marketing and public relations firm (www.PropleMG.com), whose clients include a who's who of the building industry.

Current Activities:

John is co-founder of the Certified Green Dealer Program, (www.CertifiedGreenDealer.org) a web-based, distance-learning company that trains and certifies dealers for green building. John created all the content for the Program.

John is currently adjunct instructor of architecture at the Norwich University School of Architecture + Art, in Northfield, VT. He teaches a graduate-school seminar called Global Issues in Design: Green Building

John is the green editor for LBM Journal (40,000 circ.), the leading voice of the lumber and building material dealer community.

John is the green building columnist for Qualified Remodeler magazine (90,000 circ.)

John is the green building columnist for Residential Design & Build magazine (51,000 circ.)

John’s most recent book is called Green Remodeling (Creative Homeowner Press) and it is available in all 1,800 Lowe’s stores and all 2,000 Home Depot stores. (His other books are listed at the Books link.)

A former University English professor, John has written 12 books and more than 1,300 magazine articles about home building and commercial construction, among other topics.
